Losing someone we love is never easy, and planning a funeral or memorial ceremony can feel overwhelming.

Whether you prefer a traditional ceremony, a more contemporary approach, or something entirely personal, I will work closely with you to design a service that reflects the essence of the person you’re remembering. Celebrating their life, their values, and the connections they made.

I’ll listen to your stories, memories, and reflections, helping to weave them into a heartfelt tribute. From selecting readings and music to writing eulogies or creating special rituals, together we’ll create a ceremony that is as unique as the person you’ve lost.

What’s included?

• A visit to a venue of your choice so that I can meet with family members and learn more about your loved one

• Advice and suggestions for suitable poems, readings and music

• I will liaise with the Funeral Director about music choices and running order for the service.

• On the day, I will be there nice and early to ensure everything is in order and just as we have discussed.

• I will always officiate the ceremony with care, empathy and a fair few smiles (after all, it is a celebration of life) and I keep an eye on timings to ensure everything runs smoothly.

• I will provide you with a beautifully presented printed keepsake copy of the ceremony.

From £240 for 2025 ceremonies
From £245 for 2026 ceremonies onwards

Travel outside a 30 mile radius of Great Ayton. Additional charge of £25 plus additional miles charged at 45p per mile.
Extra face-to-face meetings: from £25
