Weddings

Your ceremony should be one of the most meaningful, joy-filled parts of your day and that’s exactly what I’m here to help you create.

From our first relaxed chat to the moment you say “I do,” I’ll be by your side to design and deliver a ceremony that feels truly you. Heartfelt, light-hearted, romantic, whatever your vibe, I’ll bring your story to life with warmth, humour and care.

It’s written just for you: No standard scripts or vows that don't sound like you. Just a ceremony that tells your love story in a way that feels right. Whether that’s romantic and emotional, light-hearted and funny, or a bit of both.
Any location, any time: Registry office not your vibe? No problem. With a celebrant-led ceremony, you can say ‘I do’ just about anywhere. From a castle to a campsite, a barn to your back garden. Morning, noon or night, your day, your way.
No clock-watching: Unlike a Registrar, I won’t be rushing off to the next wedding. I only take one wedding booking per day. You can breathe, soak it all in, and really enjoy the moment.
All the personal touches: Want to include your kids, your dog, your favourite poem, or a handfasting ritual? Fancy writing your own vows (or want a bit of help with them)? I’ll guide you through it all and offer plenty of ideas if you’re not sure where to start.
You’ll know who’s standing with you: When you work with me, you’ll know exactly who’ll be standing there on the day. Not a stranger who shows up five minutes before. I take time to really get to know you both.

Good question! At the moment, UK Celebrants can’t legally marry couples, so you’ll still need to do the legal part at the Register Office (usually a quick 10-minute appointment with two witnesses). Most couples do this a few days before or after the big day then treat the real ceremony as the one they’ll remember forever.

How it works

1. Say Hello

Fill in my contact form or book a call with me. We'll have a friendly chat so that I can hear all about your wedding plans and chat to you about how I can help create a bespoke ceremony just for you! This is also an opportunity to find out all that you want to about me so that we can see if we're a good fit!

2. Secure your date

To secure your date and confirm your booking, a non-refundable booking fee of 25% is required. The remaining balance is due 6–8 weeks before your wedding date, just before I share your first ceremony draft.

3.Keep in touch

I'll get in touch 6 months before your wedding when I will also send you my Couples Questionnaire and my Love Story Questionnaire! Your answers to these help me to understand your personality, relationship and the vibe you are wanting for your ceremony.

I'll then arrange to meet up with you (face to face or on-line) and share with you the first draft of your ceremony script. Before we meet I will be on hand to help with ideas for any rituals, readings or poetry you want to include and I can also help you with writing your vows if you're struggling!

4. On the day

I'll arrive at your wedding venue at least 1 hour prior to the start of your ceremony so that I can liaise with your other wedding suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day. I'm also on hand to calm any nerves and ensure the best man and bridal party are where they need to be!

I'll deliver a beautiful ceremony full of all the things you love and in a way that is comfortable for you. After your ceremony I will send you a printed keepsake copy of the ceremony script, your vows and readings for you to treasure.
